Cancellation Policy
Hello Gorgeous requires 48 hours’ notice prior to cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. Failure to provide 48 hours’ notice will result in the forfeit of your booking fee.
Rescheduling your appointment
Hello Gorgeous requires 48 hours’ notice to reschedule your appointment. We are only able to transfer the booking fee to a new appointment provided 48 hours’ notice has been given. Rescheduling your service can be done in one of two ways:
- Use the rescheduling link which can be found in your booking confirmation email. This is the fastest and easiest way to reschedule your appointment.
- CALL our salon on 0474 700 247. Please DO NOT text or use social platforms to let us know that you need to move your appointment. Unfortunately, due to the busyness of our lash studio, we cannot guarantee that all messages will be seen in a timely manner. As such, calling is the best option to ensure we are able to transfer your booking fee to your next appointment.
If you choose to message, and we fail to receive it, your booking fee will be forfeited. If we are unable to answer the phone due to being busy with clients, we will call you back as soon as possible.
Booking Fee
A 50% booking fee is required at the time of booking. Your appointment is not finalized until your booking fee has been received. This amount will then be deducted from the total amount due at the time of your appointment. Failure to complete the booking fee will result in your booking being removed from our system and your allocated time may be given to someone else.
Booking fees will not be refunded on cancelled or rescheduled appointments with less than 48 hours notice.
Late arrivals
A 15-minute grace period is permitted to all Hello Gorgeous clients. If you arrive late, we will do our best to service you in the allotted time. However, arriving late to your appointment may mean we have to shorten the length of your service and the full cost of your service will still apply. Please understand that our strict late-arrivals policy is in place so as not to inconvenience our other clients.
Any clients arriving after the 15-minute grace period will be charged as a no show. No shows will incur a 100% service charge.
No shows
Hello Gorgeous retains the right to reschedule or charge a no show to any client that arrives 15 minutes or later to their scheduled appointment. Please understand that our strict no-show policy is in place so as not to inconvenience our other clients.
No shows will incur a 100% service charge.
No shows will not be re-booked.
Refunds
No refunds will be given for any reason on services rendered, including but not limited to, allergic reactions and client’s change of mind. As a client of Hello Gorgeous, you are paying for artist’s time, product, and other expenses used for your service.
Your satisfaction is extremely important to us, and we will do our utmost to address your concerns within 48 hours of your service. If you have concerns regarding your service, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment to discuss. If we determine we can address your concerns, we will offer a complimentary 30 minute express touch up providing the artist was at fault, and the concerns have not come about due to improper aftercare.
Any concerns addressed after 48 hours of your last appointment, or if you failed to follow the proper aftercare instructions, will be charged at full price for the service.
Booking fees will not be refunded on cancelled or rescheduled appointments with less than 48 hours notice.
Makeup
Absolutely no makeup is to be worn to your appointment. The oils in mascaras, eyeliners, cream eyeshadows, and concealers break down the lash adhesive, resulting in poor retention and fall out. Clients are to arrive with a clean face and free of any makeup, face creams, or sunscreen.
Wearing make up to your appointment will result in an extra $10 makeup removal fee charge, as well as shorten the length of your service, so as not to inconvenience our other clients. The full cost of your service will still apply.
No Guests Permitted On Premises
Absolutely no guests are to accompany you to your appointment, this includes spouses, children, family members, friends, and pets--these are QLD Health directives for all beauty businesses. In the event that you cannot find a sitter for small children, your appointment will need to be rescheduled, and your deposit will be forfeited.
Refill appointments
Fills require 40% of the lashes to be intact. Anything less is charged as a full set.
Arriving to your scheduled refill appointment with extra extension loss due to improper aftercare or interference with the lashes—such as but not limited to; picking—may require a full removal and a new full set to be applied. In the event that a full set is not needed but there is still extra extension loss, an additional fee will be charged due to the extra time and products being used. In this event, Hello Gorgeous retains the rights to forfeit your deposit and reschedule your appointment to a longer time slot if needed.
Other artists' work
Hello Gorgeous does not infill other artist's work. If you'd like to book with us, you will need to book a removal and full set.
Caffeine, Water, & Stimulants
Please limit your caffeine and stimulants (such as energy and sugary drinks) intake at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. These products have a tendency to cause the eyelids twitch, which makes perfect isolation that much more difficult. I know, I know, you NEED coffee to survive, but why not take a lash nap instead?
Please don’t drink too much water prior to your appointment or you’ll be running to the bathroom, which will require us to remove and then re-tape your lids, eating into our precious lashing time.
Phones
Here at Hello Gorgeous we get that you and your phone are inseparable. I mean, we live on ours, but our progress as artists is halted by the continual checking of your phone or by asking us to answer calls for you. Which means you, us, and our remaining clients for the day suffer. This is your self-care time. Don’t squander it—or your eyesight—by opening your eyes to check your notifications. Switch your phone off or your ringtone and notifications to silent. We promise, they’ll still be there when you wake from your lash nap.
